Easy, Muttley. That he watches his boss continue to make mistakes and delights in it, that schadenfreude sensibility, uncomplicated joy. Ok, wanting a medal for everything, well that’s where we differ. Perhaps Muttley is too comfortable where he is, knowing he’s working for a buffoon, but, well it is enjoyable. His motto would be, “told you so” except, it is much more fun to not tell, and watch the calamity unfold that he knew was coming. and the laugh !!!
My close second would be Wily E Coyote. Who actually likes that meep meep roadrunner? Wily never gives up, failure after failure, genius ideas, always coming out on the wrong side but bounces back and tries again. I enjoy that, never perfecting always trying.
To those that receive an email to say a new post has been published. I never realised it sent you the whole post. I type quickly, half the time not really focused, and after published, I then might re-read and adjust, which obviously those receiving the emails wont get. Its rare I’ll delete a whole paragraph, or insert one, but it could happen, likewise, spelling mistakes get missed and my sometimes skewey grammar needs a brush up. I’m not professional, these entries really are just me rambling on, I don’t strive for perfection, so ignore the email post and read the ‘piece’ after a few hours… I guess, apologies ;-).Dag’Dave
The Random musings of a nobody. “Dagenham Dave”, is slang for someone one stop short of Barking (mad), though more contemporarily refers to any wayfaring and carefree person. Dagenham is a town to the eastern side of London (Luds Dominium) that was first recorded in a Barking charter in 666a.d. as the town of Daeccanham. Daecca is an ancient man’s name meaning ‘bright’ or ‘famous’ . Ham is short for Hamlet. Dave is short for David, Hebrew for ‘Beloved’, My Surname ‘Wenborn’ derives from old English meaning of the Winding Stream.
