No would be the short answer. There are people who are ‘in tune’ with me, same likes, same mannerism and quirks, doesn’t necessarily mean they’re my soulmate, they could in fact be negative by being ‘enablers’, continuing and encouraging the traits of my condition that may in fact be negative.
Perhaps then, a soul mate should be a dynamic personality, that energises, shakes you up, polarises, makes you think differently, which is good until we find that in fact for the essence of peace we follow and become them. We emulate.
There is no twin flame, there is no person that “completes you” that is demeaning to yourself, you complete you. People can bring peace to our lives, excitement, danger, a sense of purpose, safety and protection, all sorts of things that seem to be a missing jigsaw in the picture of our being. WE could say then;- Desire moves toward something it lacks; love rests in something it has found.
Desire is momentum, polarising, dynamism. Love is Harmony, equilibrium, synchronicity. These are not found in another person, only in how we ourselves interact with other people.

The Random musings of a nobody. “Dagenham Dave”, is slang for someone one stop short of Barking (mad), though more contemporarily refers to any wayfaring and carefree person. Dagenham is a town to the eastern side of London (Luds Dominium) that was first recorded in a Barking charter in 666a.d. as the town of Daeccanham. Daecca is an ancient man’s name meaning ‘bright’ or ‘famous’ . Ham is short for Hamlet.
Dave is short for David, Hebrew for ‘Beloved’, My Surname ‘Wenborn’ derives from old English meaning of the Winding Stream.
