To the ‘tools’ assigned a Goddess, the feminine divine, and thus each tool when handled is ‘viewed’ not as it is but in place of She, the Goddess unto whom it is bestowed.

Sekmets Scourge, Lucinda’s Light;
Ring Free Tara, Hail Sophia’s Sight;
The Robe of Nyx, The Morrigan’s Spear;
Lamastu Chained, Hathoor Scent Here.
By Vesta’s Altar, Athena Weighs;
Medusa Reflects as Kali slays;
The Oracle of Isis, and Morgan La Fey
grinds herbs on mortar, pestles way.
Nephythys and the effigy;
as Pomba Gira’s Fetishes energy;
From the priestess~ Marie Laveau
her pouch unbound gives all .
Frigg holds the Orb
and Freya adorns the jewels
around her neck
the old tree lores.
Inannna shows the Ring
and The Cailleach sing
in the sacred circle
That will be done, begins.
Hera wears the crown
and blessed salt of Salacia;
upon the unconquered pedestal
Nemesis stands.
Tiamat the aged Relic
lost and found;
The urn of The Magdalene
A chalice sealed and bound.
Hecate lights the Torch
and Lakshmi gives the boon;
The Girdle upon Aphrodite
dances Muts sacred tune .
The Cymbal rings by Astartes hand
and shows the sigils Erzulie found.
In the well of Coventina,
Santa Muerte’s scythe is crowned.
Pandora eyes the casket
as Cerridwen stirs the slush
in her cauldron ever flowing
to Nenevehs Besoms brush.
Persephone holds the mace
but lost without a trace
in winter underground;
but in spring is refound.
Dianas Bow and Arrow
rides the hunt for the prize;
Clotho, Lachesis, Atropis
Spin, Measure, then demise.
And the Keys of Enodia
reveal the fate that we are;
Life is judged by feather
and Maat our last memoir.
