/ Nescio~ I do not know, as Socrates said, “I know that I know nothing.”(although to be fair in a Zen/Buddhist way, this statement would be profound and indeed the aim) …Therefore all else that follows is subject to this first truth,
/ Entropy and everything will die, Memento Mori, All that we love, and all that we witness will either perish before us, or we will perish first. Our perception is finite, our experience is fleeting.
/ Existence IS. Cogito, ergo sum. Even if all that we pervade is illusion, by our reference to it, it exists and we are witness to it, we are in duality as we exist separate to all that is external .
/ All that has a cause, will have an effect. We should add in linear and forward time, even this is debatable, what if the future influences the past? However cause and effect exists~ in the boundary of the arrow of time.
/ Change is inevitable, or else all would be stagnant, in harmony everything rests, therefore to exist everything must be in a state of ‘rajas’, flux and reflux, dynamism. That we live in an evolving nature means change is inevitable.
/ Suffering is fundamental in the presence of existence. Because by the nature of creation, we are separate from the primordial balance of harmony, we exist apart from it, therefore we are either in a state of yearning to fulfil our harmony, or actively repelling from the idea to unite with a principle beyond our sense of self. We have desire or aversion. Between them, ie, when both are negated we are at an equilibrium.
/ We are limited physically by the same laws of physical limitation. we are limited by the laws also of experience. All else is speculative and based on ‘faith’.
/Every limitation is bound to be breached. The mind, as ‘Buddha’ once said, the mind is everything, what you think you become. We say we cannot run faster but the record keeps being broken, we define the limit of the universe and realise it is far more expansive, we say we will never, and so we do exactly that.
/ What we do not know, we substitute with fantasy. The Eye cannot see itself.
/Niti Niti- we are not that and are not this. Even in the moment, what exists becomes the past, things and perception has changed, the finite present is non-existent. We are echoes of reflection. What we perceive and analyse collapses in the instant. It cannot be measured.
