What does freedom mean to me? depends on what freedom is, its a strange concept which the more you scrutinize the less sense it makes.
Am I free to espouse my own belief if those beliefs negate, criticize and humiliate others? Can I be free to follow my own religion if that religion decries other religions as being false and other followers of other religions as being deviant or subhuman? Therefore, can I be free as long as I keep my mouth shut? where’s the freedom in that?
In theory, the best and free system is one of pure Anarchy, yet, as we know, it would take one greedy person, or one self righteous ego and the whole anarchic and free system would collapse.
I am not free to travel unmolested anywhere, because some people don’t like where I come from, for whatever reason or prejudice, just as A South Londoner doesn’t like an East Londoner and an east Londoner living in Bow doesn’t like an east Londoner who lives in Canning town, Or someone from Bow doesn’t like the ‘others’ who live around the corner and a brother hates his brother.
Freedom is a concept which the more you slice open doesn’t actually exist.
Freedom of the press? it is under the designation of the editor of course, always.
The only true freedom exists in truth and this is not possible as society and the status quo is maintained by lies, which we can argue about and throw bricks through windows over, the lies are there to maintain the basic function of society, whichever society that is whether it is autocratic, a religious despot, the veil of ‘democracy’ etc.
~Freedom exists only in Truth, Yes- the Truth shall set you free.
What does Freedom mean to me, it only exists in my mind.

The Random musings of a nobody. “Dagenham Dave”, is slang for someone one stop short of Barking (mad), though more contemporarily refers to any wayfaring and carefree person. Dagenham is a town to the eastern side of London (Luds Dominium) that was first recorded in a Barking charter in 666a.d. as the town of Daeccanham. Daecca is an ancient man’s name meaning ‘bright’ or ‘famous’ . Ham is short for Hamlet.
Dave is short for David, Hebrew for ‘Beloved’, My Surname ‘Wenborn’ derives from old English meaning of the Winding Stream.
