I would create the Bill of the People. It would ensure that as a hive mind and ‘nation’ all utility companies would be provided by the state. This isn’t nationalisation, as competitors would still be able to operate but the Water, Electricity, Gas, Telecoms, Banking and Rail networks would all have a company run by the country, providing ‘AT COST’ utility.
The Law would also insist on the right of the people to access to ALL green land, there would be no barriers or fenced off areas with the exception of normal trespass laws, but who needs 3000 acres of land as their border? As an addendum to this part of the law, all wooded areas would be protected and expanded using native trees, fallow fields and greenery would be wild flowered.
It would be forbidden to dump waste into rivers for which the CEO of any company doing so would be personally liable and personally have to pay from his accredited bank account/assets.
The NHS would be ringfenced and protected and any outside company providing extortionate supply to the NHS, i.e. in the form of overpriced drugs or equipment would be excluded from future tenders or approved supply, the NHS would then delineate the copyright on those goods and create them at cost.
The purpose of the whole law would encompass the rights of people to live each without exploitation or sufferance and to provide and protect the environment in which they live.
