The quest to learn. It’s like a burning desire that will never get quenched. Learn guitar, you’ll always find new scales or new rhythms and genres to learn, learn art and there’s always a new technique. Who wants to be a master knowing it all, it would be like having so much money there is no ‘struggle’ and desire to live. My hobby is hobbies. My yearning is never to come to a stage and say, “that’s it, that’s all there is to know”. This quest is never ending and that’s the whole point, there is no reason in the chaos of possibilities, just riding with the unpredictable and embracing the peculiar until like a good friend it becomes the familiar. We chased a rainbow as some rode out to find the grail, and high upon a mountain there we saw it in its entirety and it were but a circle, never ending and consuming itself, no beginning or end.

The Random musings of a nobody. “Dagenham Dave”, is slang for someone one stop short of Barking (mad), though more contemporarily refers to any wayfaring and carefree person. Dagenham is a town to the eastern side of London (Luds Dominium) that was first recorded in a Barking charter in 666a.d. as the town of Daeccanham. Daecca is an ancient man’s name meaning ‘bright’ or ‘famous’ . Ham is short for Hamlet.
Dave is short for David, Hebrew for ‘Beloved’, My Surname ‘Wenborn’ derives from old English meaning of the Winding Stream.
